Everything about The Kaisaniemi Metro Station totally explained

The Kaisaniemi metro station (Finnish Kaisaniemen metroasema / Swedish Metrostationen Kajsaniemi) is a station on the Helsinki Metro. It serves the central Helsinki district of Kaisaniemi. It is the only station whose name is announced in only one language: whether this is Finnish or Swedish is unknown and irrelevant, because the Finnish 'Kaisaniemi' and the Swedish 'Kajsaniemi' are pronounced identically. When the station was opened the announcement was for a while in two languages like on the other stations, 'Kaisaniemi - Kajsaniemi'. This unnecessary repetition caused a lot of amusement, and the station name has been announced only once since then.
The station was opened on 1 March 1995, designed by the architect bureau Kontio - Kilpi - Valjento Oy. It is located at a distance of approximately 0.597 kilometres from the Central Railway Station, and 0.916 kilometres from the Hakaniemi metro station.
The station is situated at a depth of 27 metres below ground level (22m below sea level). The station is equipped with an unusual glass-sided funicular-style elevator operating along the slope next to the escalators (contrasting with a more conventional vertical liftshaft).
